Lake Oswego Custom Home
This traditional, hand-crafted home commands views of Lake Oswego and Mt. Hood. But its greatest beauty lies in its details. On the exterior, finishes range from cedar siding, cedar shake, stucco and local stone masonry. The custom-made front door features walnut and antique glass. Inside, the quartered white oak floor was installed raw, and sanded and finished in the home. The ceilings are unique to each room: some are antiqued beams with a faux finish, others are drywall with a feature like a groin vault. A traditional blacksmith shaped the iron balustrades and handrails, and added decorative knuckles and quatrefoil designs. The custom cabinets are flush inset, and the fireplace is crafted from carved limestone. This home represents thoughtfulness and commitment.
